Cellist Isabella Brady earned her Bachelor in Music Performance from the University of Puget Sound (UPS) in May 2024. She has performed extensively across chamber, symphonic, and operatic genres, serving in leadership roles such as Principal Cello with the UPS Symphony Orchestra and UPS Opera Pit. Her orchestral experience includes participation with ensembles such as the Rainier Symphony (2024-2025) and Tacoma Music Collaborative (2023 & 2025). In Fall 2026, Isabella will attend University of Maryland to pursue her Master's of Music in Performance.

Isabella has been featured in masterclasses with renowned artists including cellist Oliver Herbert, violist Randolph Kelley, and pianist Christopher O'Reilly. In 2025, Isabella performed in the University of Puget Sound's renowned Jacobsen Series "A Cello Celebration" featuring guest artist David Geber.

Equally passionate about chamber music, Isabella has participated in Tacoma Music Collaborative's (formerly Orchestral Recital Series) chamber music festivals throughout the year. Notably, she played in the Fall Piano Trio festival alongside the Puget Sound Piano Trio, comprised of Maria Sampen (violin), Alistair MacRae (cello), and Ronaldo Rolim (piano). In 2025, Isabella joined Junior Chamber Music (JCM) of Conejo Valley where she had the opportunity to perform locally and compete in the JCM Chamber Competition semi-finals and in the MTAC VOCE Chamber Competition finals.

During the summers, she continued to expand her artistry through intensive training at the Brevard Music Center and the Westmont Academy for Young Artists. While at Brevard, Isabella performed in Brevard Sinfonia, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and a variety of chamber ensembles. In addition to performing in Brevard's esteemed orchestras and chamber ensembles, she had the opportunity to perform in the New Music Ensemble which performs composition student's pieces.

In addition to being a performer, Isabella is passionate about teaching cello students. She believes teaching deepens her understanding as a performer and cultivates a meaningful connection with students. Since she was fifteen, she taught students at Conejo Valley Music Camp, local mentorship programs, and maintained a private teaching studio. In 2022, she joined the faculty of the University of Puget Sound Community Music Program, where she taught students of all ages and skill levels for three wonderful years. As of 2026, Isabella maintains a private studio that serves the DMV area.
